Hand-built electric drive boards
DriveBoard Customs is a small shop building bespoke electric boards — your geometry, your drivetrain, your route. We tune each one to how you actually ride and bench-test it before it ships.

Full specWhy a custom board
Every deck is laid up, wired, and torqued on our bench — not pulled from a shelf. Your build sheet ships in the box with the serial number.
Gear ratio, throttle curve, and brake feel are dialed to how you actually ride. A 130 lb commuter and a 220 lb hauler get different boards.
No glued-in batteries. Enclosures open with a hex key so a worn belt or aging cell is a repair, not a landfill trip.
How it works
No configurators, no checkout cart. A real conversation, a build sheet you approve, and a board made on a bench you can visit.
A 30-minute call about your route, weight, and what the last board got wrong. No quote pressure.
We send a build sheet: drivetrain, pack, wheels, colorway. You approve every line before we cut anything.
Deck layup, wiring, and assembly on the bench — usually 3 to 6 weeks, with photos as it comes together.
Full-throttle pulls, brake checks, and a logged break-in cycle before it ships in a reusable hard case.
From the riders
I gave them a route with a brutal hill I always had to walk up. The Ridgeline climbs it at 18 mph and I have stopped thinking about it. That is the whole review.

Third board I have owned and the first that fit me. They re-geared it twice after delivery until the throttle felt right. Nobody else does that.

The Tarmac One is genuinely fast and genuinely quiet, which I did not think you could have at once. The build log they shipped is framed in my garage.
